The feeling of travelling through the mountains on skis is one of the most
magical mountain experience. The speed with which ground can be covered
on skis compared to walking can be unbelivable at times.
Probably the most famous ski tour in the world, skiing from Chamonix to Zermatt
is a must for all ski mountaineers. The traverse, via Verbier, utilises French and
Swiss mountain huts and can be completed in 6 to 8 days depending on weather
and snow conditions.
This is one of the gratest ski tour in the world. We start under the Eiger in
Grindelwald town and traverse from north to south across the roof of Switzerland,
before finishing with a fine descent into the Rhone valley.
You will stay in mountain huts overnigt and each day cross remote glaciers and
climb high peaks as the Fiescherhorn (4049m), Gross Wannenhorn (3906m) and
Abeniflue (3960m).
Ski mountaineering possibilities are endless!
Off piste is one of the most exhilarating ways of moving over snow.
From the top of the lift systems using or not mountain-ski equipment
we will ski in a stunning mountain scenery in solitude and silence.
In this grate week we will stay in Alagna, the freeride "mecca",
that with a wide variety of runs will suit everyone from the beginners to
the seasoned freeriders:
steep couloirs filled with snow or open fields of untracked powder snow are
guaranteed!
